History
Founded in 1978, EMC Engineering Services, Inc. (EMC) has built a reputation for high quality, cost effective projects, resulting in satisfied clientele.
By 1982, the firm had tripled in size and moved from its original offices on Liberty Street to our present location in the heart of the downtown historic business district.
When EMC was founded, we provided clients with high quality planning and design services in the environmental, marine and civil engineering fields. Since that time, we have diversified into other areas, including planning, wetlands mitigation, landscape architecture, land surveying, hydrographic surveying, GIS and construction management. EMC has an outstanding record of growth, expansion and providing top quality services to our clients. The growth and reputation of the firm are the direct outcome of individual efforts and close cooperation by all of our staff. Our future success depends upon the continuation of these efforts and adherence to the highest professional standards and ideals.

Each project is supervised by a Project Manager responsible for meeting the client's specific needs. To support the various production departments, all of our Owners are actively engaged in managing projects based on their particular expertise.
