The project consist of a reuse irrigation system capable of pumping 200,000 to 400,000 GPD of tertiary treated water for use as irrigation water onto and around the Lost Plantation Golf Course. The system included a reuse effluent pumping station at the existing wastewater treatment plant, 18,000 linear feet of 12-inch “pantone purple” C-900 PVC piping with fittings and valves, a new golf course irrigation system with piping, irrigation heads and electronic controls, and a new irrigation pumping system and building. These components were constructed in 2011, and are currently being utilized to provide reuse irrigation water to the golf course.

EMC provided planning, assistance with GEFA funding, surveying, geotechnical and civil engineering design, construction document preparation, permitting, and construction management services for all phases of the project. This included direct purchase of materials and overseeing two prime contractors, a SCADA vendor and contractor, and subcontractors to complete the project. EMC also prepared the O&M manuals and record drawings.

EMC also completed plans and contract documents for an above ground storage tank, which is currently being reviewed by GA EPD, and will be bid and constructed by summer 2012.
